Insight Global is looking for an Outgoing Quality Inspector to join our team in Lake Forest, CA. This individual will be conducting visual, production history(traveler) based inspections on assembled system that contains PCA (Printed circuit board assembly) based modular assembly, metal frames, harnesses, Power supplies, thermal units, mechanical parts and safety features/structures to accept the shipment to our customer at the end of production step. This role includes accessing a production management data system to refer work instructions and record the inspection results. The role is very important to ensure quality of our products within a short production lead time.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
o Inspection on complete product system
o Quality inspections on assembled system that contains PCA (Printed circuit board assembly) based modular assembly, metal frames, harnesses, Power supplies, thermal units, mechanical parts and safety features/structure.
o Following inspection instructions made by line lead.
o Accessing production data tool to refer the instructions and record your inspection results correctly.
o Understand standard processes that you are assigned to follow them.
o Take training assigned by line leader
o Follows 5S, ESD control policy
Requirements, Education & Skills:
•High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
•Knowledge of IPC-610 standard equivalent
•Understand material drawing (mechanical/electrical) call outs and requirements
•Knowledge in PCA, Wire harness assembly production is preferred.
•Effective and open-minded communication skills.
•Can use basic features of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Teams, Outlook).
