Job Description

Our client, a manufacturing company located in Dunmore, PA, is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor (Days) to join their team.

What you will do in this role:

• Lead and supervise the maintenance team, ensuring efficient daily operations.
• Install, assemble, and test new machines and equipment while adhering to workplace safety regulations.
• Conduct regular machine inspections, including visual checks, listening for irregular noises, and performing scheduled tests.
• Monitor machinery for signs of malfunctions, such as changes in performance, temperature fluctuations, unusual sounds, or atypical energy consumption.
• Troubleshoot and address issues related to electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret technical documents, including equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Perform routine and emergency repairs across a variety of equipment, identifying and replacing worn or damaged components.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and repairs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient equipment operation.
• Utilize a variety of power and hand tools for maintenance tasks.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations in all aspects of work.

What you will bring to the role:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Supervisor or in a similar role within a mechanical or manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience with HVAC/R systems and industrial mechanics.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and tools.
• Ability to perform stick welding for repairs and fabrication.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work weekends, as needed.
