IT M&A Project Manager

Location: Schaumburg, IL (Onsite)

About the Role:

We seek an IT Project Manager to join our IT Program Management Office (PMO) and lead projects within the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Program . This role focuses on integrating business applications into our IT ecosystem following acquisitions, ensuring streamlined systems and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage M&A IT integration projects , ensuring timely execution and high-quality delivery
• Develop detailed project plans , define scope, track milestones, and oversee execution
• Manage project risks (RAID) and ensure compliance with project management best practices
• Engage with stakeholders to align business and IT objectives, manage expectations, and foster collaboration
• Lead and coordinate project teams , ensuring timely completion of tasks
• Facilitate Agile and Scrum practices, enabling teams to work efficiently and remove roadblocks
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Drive key program activities , including resource management, scope control, budgeting, risk management, and issue resolution

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• 6–8 years of experience in IT project management, preferably in M&A integration projects
• Strong Agile and Scrum experience, with a Scrum Master or PMP certification preferred
• Proven experience using Jira, Confluence, and Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP and core business processes is a plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong collaboration and leadership abilities
