Job Description

We’re looking for a dynamic, people-centered leader to serve as our Head of Human Resources —someone who brings both expertise and heart to the role. This is a key position responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR and people operations, from recruitment and onboarding to compliance, employee relations, and culture building. As a trusted advisor to the President/CEO and Executive Team, you’ll play a strategic role in shaping an inclusive, engaging, and values-driven employee experience.

What You'll Bring

Core HR Expertise Required:

  • Strategic workforce and talent planning
  • Full-cycle Talent Management: recruitment, onboarding, retention, and training
  • Deep knowledge of employment law and regulatory compliance (ACA, ERISA, IRS Pub. 15, etc.)
  • Policy development and implementation
  • Employee relations and performance management
  • Compensation and benefits program design
  • Payroll oversight
  • HRIS and data/reporting metrics
  • Workplace safety and workers’ comp administration

What You'll Do

  • Lead and develop a high-performing HR team
  • Manage benefits and compensation programs, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with employee needs
  • Foster strong communication and collaboration across all levels of the organization
  • Serve as a coach and consultant to leadership on HR strategy, workforce planning, and change management
  • Build and nurture an inclusive and positive company culture that reflects our values
  • Launch employee engagement initiatives, recognition efforts, and wellness programs
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in both policy and practice
  • Use data to inform decision-making and continuously improve HR operations
  • Stay closely connected to the day-to-day needs of our people while supporting long-term strategic goals

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; Master’s preferred
  • 5–10 years of progressive HR experience, including senior leadership roles
  • Professional certification (SPHR or SHRM-SCP) strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated success managing both strategy and operations in a fast-paced environment
