Job Title: Solutions Architect – F5, Networking & DNS/IPAM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect with deep hands-on experience in F5 technologies , Infoblox DNS/IPAM , and enterprise-level networking . This is an onsite role in Raleigh, NC , and is open only to U.S. permanent residents . The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of application delivery knowledge, DNS/IPAM expertise, and high-level troubleshooting across complex routing and switching infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and deploy enterprise-grade F5 BIG-IP solutions (LTM, GTM/DNS, APM, ASM, AFM) for performance, security, and resilience.
• Lead the design and operations of Infoblox DDI infrastructure, including DNS zone architecture, DHCP services, and IP address management in hybrid environments.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting across the network stack, including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, NAT, ACLs, VRFs, and multicast .
• Optimize DNS resolution, redundancy, and policy enforcement across cloud and on-prem systems.
• Integrate F5 and Infoblox solutions with modern application architectures, cloud workloads, and automation frameworks.
• Use tools like iRules, iApps, and F5 REST APIs for traffic management, automation, and security.
• Develop robust IPAM strategies that support dynamic provisioning and compliance across multi-tenant environments.
• Maintain architectural documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Act as escalation point for complex network and application delivery issues.
• Participate in infrastructure modernization efforts with a focus on automation, observability, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering or solutions architecture experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with F5 BIG-IP (LTM, GTM/DNS, APM, ASM).
• 3+ years of direct experience with Infoblox DDI solutions.
• Expert-level knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS (RFCs 1034/1035), SSL/TLS , and common network protocols.
• Strong background in routing, switching, and troubleshooting across multi-site and hybrid environments.
• Experience integrating F5 and Infoblox solutions with public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) platforms.
• Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Python) for networking and IPAM workflows.
• Exceptional documentation and communication skills.

Preferred Certifications:

• F5-CTS (LTM, DNS) or F5 Certified Solution Expert (CSE)
• Infoblox Core DDI Certification
• Cisco CCNP/CCIE , Juniper JNCIP/JNCIE , or equivalent

• This is an onsite role based in Raleigh, NC – remote work is not available.
