We are looking for EHS Manager   to join our team in the production site of Teva in Dupnitsa .

The opportunity

This role will be focused on Industrial Hygiene and it involves the development and implementation of comprehensive EHS programs, with a particular focus on managing industrial hygiene within our operations.

How you’ll spend your day

•    Leads activities for the Industrial Hygiene Program, including planning, developing, coordinating, and monitoring the program’s implementation
•    Executes measures in environmental protection and occupational health and safety programs
•    Participates in the development and implementation of training and qualification programs for workers and employees in occupational health and safety
•    Understands and applies the regulatory and company requirements in the field of environmental protection and occupational health and safety
•    Manages health and safety activities in the respective structural unit
•    Responsible for timely informing the employer regarding the execution of given prescriptions, orders, and instructions
•    Ensures the implementation of adequate measures in emergency situations
•    Conducts long-term, medium-term, and current planning of HSE activities in the company
•    Provides opinions, recommendations, and proposals regarding environmental and HSE matters during project assignment and approval, investment object acceptance, scientific development approval, and other innovative activities
•    Organizes and controls the preparation of necessary analyses and reports concerning the state of the environment and HSE
•    5.8. Organizes and controls the activities of the department to ensure healthy and safe working conditions and environmental protection
•    Controls the preparation of emergency action plans for extraordinary situations
•    Ensures familiarity with and adherence to company values in various aspects of official duties
•    Coordinates the participation and interaction with other functions

Your experience and qualifications

•    University degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or relevant in "Health and safety at work"
•    Previous experience in the field of pharmaceutical industry or in the production of pharmaceutical products will be considered as a strong advantage
•    Knowledge of current regulations in the field of occupational health and safety
•     Familiarity with European legislation and monitoring changes and requirements related to ensuring healthy and safe working conditions
•    Comprehensive understanding of the organization, workflow, and distribution of work in different workplaces
•    Good communication and collaboration skills in both verbal and written English
