LHH has partnered with a long-time client in search of a Director of Engineering in the Bothell area. As the Director of Engineering, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our engineering department. You will be responsible for overseeing all engineering activities and projects, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality products, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the company's growth and success.

What you will do:

• Oversee all engineering projects ensuring quality, cost efficiency and on time delivery.
• Lead the development of new products, product lines focusing on optimizing design for manufacturing and processing.
• Oversee projects from conception to full-scale production and ensure they meet compliance, cost, quality and performance standards.
• ROI analysis for new tooling and equipment investments, process improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience managing people.
• Experience in New Product Development
• Excellent project management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to collaborate with others.
• Hands on experience in a manufacturing setting.

Other:

• Fully onsite position-Bothell, WA
• $138k-$175k DOE
