BODEN, an award-winning, independent, and minority-owned Hispanic communications powerhouse making an impact for brands embracing the changing face of culture, is looking for a Copywriter to join our team.

The Copywriter is a creative storyteller who excels at crafting persuasive and compelling written content. This professional has a social-first view of content, keeps up to date with industry trends and best practices, is committed to being proactive and resourceful, pays close attention to details, and offers insights-based creative perspectives and strategies to both existing and potential clients’ needs.

The Copywriter understands what messages, tone, and language work best for the different social platforms and can provide recommendations on how to effectively reach desired target audiences. Helps the team find solutions when needed, collects and assesses data to evaluate the efficiency of the content being created, and optimizes social media posts by working closely with the account team.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the ideation and development of captivating campaigns, translating marketing objectives into engaging social-first ideas.
• Develops engaging social media copies aligned with the clients’ brands, tone, messages, etc.
• Creates written content for various social media platforms with excellent judgment, instincts, and a sharp feel for the social media landscape.
• Drafts and edits copy for all PR, social, marketing, and promotional material, including print, digital, and other sources of advertisement
• Collaborates with the team to create cohesive storytelling scripts for clients.
• Provides copy editing and quality assurance services for grammar, syntax, tone, and style
• Provides the highest level of client service by staying on top of deliverables, ensuring timely delivery
• Stays up to date with all social media trends to ensure the company continues to drive exciting, cool content that engages and entices our clients’ followers
• Supports growth and new business with ideation and content creation

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of work experience in professional services firm – public relations, marketing, advertising, fields are preferred
• Copywriting and social media experience is a must
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish, being able to confidently present creative concepts and rationale internally and externally.
• Ability to enhance and push work further from creative feedback.
• Strong understanding of marketing/client objectives as they apply to creative development.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Ability to generate ideas and think conceptually.
