Job Description

We are looking for experienced welders and fitters that take pride in the quality of their work and are ready to hit the ground running. This job involves working in a busy shop with plenty of work to do. We are looking for welders that have at least 2 to 3 years of experience -- but the more the better! Fitters who have assembled and fit drawing dimensions of various structural, plate, and mechanical materials. Compensation is based on experience, skill, and qualifications. Responsibilities:
Receive instructions, prints, sketches, and work orders.
Read and interpret blueprints and plan the fitting operation.
Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products.
Install and repair various equipment and components.
Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams.
Follow blueprints to meet product specifications.
Calculate material measurements to verify specifications.
Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
Working hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Skills:
Experience with PowerFab- not required
2 years of experience with welding and fitting
Good eye for detail

Education:
No Degree Required

Experience:
1-4 years

Qualifications:
Previous experience in welding and fitting.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and procedural manuals.
Must pass fitter test.
Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields.
Ability to certify a 3G test using 3/8 Plate and 1/16 wire.
Familiarity with welding tools and procedures.
Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics.
Ability to handle physical workload.
