Warehouse and Logistics Lead Role:
Warehouse and Logistics is a hands-on leadership position overseeing product movement, inventory accuracy, and the shipping processes to ensure seamless operations.
Acting as the key point of contact for warehouse coordination, this role requires a proactive approach to team leadership, stock management, and logistical problem-solving.
The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic setting, ensuring efficiency while identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Oversee scheduling and task delegation for warehouse and shipping teams.
Maintain accurate stock levels through strategic inventory control.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to shipments, damaged goods, and inventory variances.
Track product flow, ensuring all transfers are properly logged.
Supervise packaging and labeling for outbound orders, ensuring compliance with shipping guidelines.
Handle domestic and international logistics, including documentation for customs and trade regulations.
Oversee the movement of goods across multiple locations, coordinating with production teams as needed.
Monitor database transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.
Guide and support team members, driving efficiency and engagement.
Ensure adherence to workplace safety, company policies, and industry regulations.
Manage freight planning, including space requirements and weight estimates.
Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
Warehouse and Logistics Lead Background Profile:
5 years experience in warehouse operations, shipping, or logistics teams.
Minimum 1 year of leading a team, ideally 3 years.
Familiarity with MRP or ERP inventory systems.
Knowledge of international shipping and customs documentation.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a detail-oriented mindset.
Effective communication and leadership skills to support team success.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Forklift experience preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
