Job Description

Title:  VP of Sales & Marketing

Location:  Hybrid (Greater Tampa)

 

Summary:

The Vice President of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for driving the company's growth strategy, identifying new market opportunities, and fostering strategic partnerships. They will also lead all business to business (B2B) and business to consumer (B2C) marketing initiatives for the company. This encompasses strategy development and deployment, media content development, marketplace messaging tactics, agency management and relationship, brand, and new product development. This individual is a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and lead Marketing strategy development and deployment across all businesses. Includes creative, digital, social, paid media, SEO, online and in-person events, etc.
  • Lead and manage staffing, coaching, mentoring, training/development, and day-to-day activities of the Sales & Marketing Teams.
  • Develops annual Marketing budget consistent with Company and Business Unit / Brand strategies.
  • Delivery of annual corporate financial targets.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Identify and analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • Sales Leadership: Lead the business development team to achieve revenue targets and drive sales growth.
  • Provide leadership to the Sales & Marketing Team, Brand Management, Digital Marketing, Creative, New Product Development.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of business development initiatives.
  • Lead customer contract and pricing negotiations.
  • Personally, acquiring new customers.
  • Direct customer management for top customers.

 

Skills and Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or a related role, with at least 5 years in a leadership position. Experience in Beauty, Cosmetics or Personal Care is required.
  • Proven history of driving revenue growth and developing strategic partnerships.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to interpret data and market insights.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and people skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in brand and product management: strong ability to create, develop and follow a concept through its life cycle, preferably in the Beauty or Personal Care industry.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing within the Beauty or Personal Care industries.
  • In-depth knowledge of B2B and B2C digital marketing, social media and influencers, customer Marketing, and online sales funnels.
  • Proven data comprehension/analysis and fact-based decision-making skills.
  • Agency business and relationship management.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
