This is an excellent opportunity for a urologist seeking a diverse and dynamic practice with access to advanced technologies like robotic surgery, a supportive team, and the flexibility to shape their own career path.

Scope of Practice: The practice covers a broad scope of urological care, including general urology, female urology, oncology, and more. Approximately 80% of the practice focuses on general urology, with a mix of complex cases across all specialties. The new physician will have access to robotic surgery and will perform surgeries using the robotic system.

Work Schedule:

• Clinic & OR: On average, physicians see about 20 patients per day. The typical schedule consists of three (3) days in clinic and two (2) days in the OR, with at least one or two days per week dedicated to home-based video clinic appointments.
• Virtual Appointments: Physicians will have the flexibility to conduct virtual appointments, with an average of 1-2 days per week working from home for telemedicine visits.
• Robotic Surgeries: Robotic surgeries are performed at Kaiser Panorama City, with travel required for these cases twice a month.
• Outpatient Surgeries: Outpatient surgeries are conducted at the Kaiser Surgery Center in Antelope Valley.
• Hospital Admissions & Surgeries: Hospital-based surgeries are performed at the Antelope Valley Medical Center.

Qualifications:

Urology BE or BC.

About the area The Antelope Valley is northeast of Los Angeles, at the western tip of the Mojave Desert between the Tehachapi, Sierra Pelona, and San Gabriel Mountains. The Antelope Valley offers good schools, relatively affordable housing, and easy access to nature – without the Los Angeles traffic. Our Lancaster and Palmdale facilities are an easy commute from the Santa Clarita Valley or other parts of Los Angeles.

Most physicians in the Antelope Valley Kaiser system reside in areas such as Pasadena, Sherman Oaks, Encino, Tarzana, Santa Clarita, Valencia, Brentwood, or Santa Monica.

Salary Range: $465, 175.00 to $572,799.00

Potential Premium Earnings: $39, 804.00

*Salary range includes incentives that are contingent upon skills, competencies, and geographic location. The earnings included in the salary range are contingent upon requisite Board Certification. Annual Salary is determined by longevity with the Group and full time equivalent (FTE) work schedule/effort
