Are you an experienced Urgent Care or Associate Veterinarian looking for a new opportunity Colonial Terrace Animal Hospital in Dubuque IA is seeking a FullTime or PartTime Urgent Care Veterinarian and we want you to join us!

Our ideal hours include Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00am 8:00pm. Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:00am 7:00pm. but we are flexible and open to discussing a schedule that fits your needs and ours.

About Colonial Terrace Animal Hospital:

Our beautiful hospital is a fullservice small animal practice offering the best in medical surgical and customer care and has been in the community since 1972. Our clinic is newly expanded/remodelled added in surgical and dental suites a separate cat waiting area additional exam rooms ultrasound room a staff room additional office space and even an apartment room to stay overnight if commuting! These changes have allowed us to better accommodate our patients and staff and help us to continue offering the high level (AAHA Accredited) care our clients have come to expect over the years.

Requirements

• Minnesota Veterinary License active and in good standing
  
• Teamwork mentality and open to collaboration
  
• Open to our Leadership Development Year Long Program to develop not only your business mindset but also soft skills.
  • A year long program for Hospital Leadership or people who desire leadership in the future
    
  • Starts by visiting the home office in for a few days where you would be involved in training
    
  • Weekly meetings for your personal development
    
  • Main focus is soft skills leadership communication management styles how to lead effective meetings retention skills financial aspects like how to read a P&L and business focusedGREAT invaluable information that would stick with you.
    
  • For a leader that you would want for instance is it someone who can read a P&L statement or someone who can read a P&L statement AND lead in a healthy and positive way that has the well rounded soft skills that are so pertinent in todays environment

Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university Active Veterinary State License (preferred)

Education

DVM or VMD 3+ years in Practice Setting
