What You Will Do:

As a UiPath Automation Engineer , he supports the development, delivery, and sustainment of UiPath automation applications.

The UiPath Automation Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Designing, developing, and implementing various process improvement tools and techniques, including Workflow, Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Optical Character Recognition (OCR), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Machine Learning (ML) to meet end-to-end business requirements.
  • Mapping the as-is process, exploring, identifying, and testing new innovative technology or solutions for process re-engineering, digitization, or automation.
  • Creating and maintaining the Solution Design Document (SDD) throughout the project life cycle, including detailed RPA solution process flows and technical specifications.
  • Creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios for user acceptance testing.
  • Defining and planning the development approach for larger projects/solutions through smaller developments using object-oriented design skills.
  • Working in a project-based organization to deliver within defined project plans and constraints, as well as communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery manager.
  • Investigating and conducting detailed analysis of RPA incidents and process exceptions by applying a strategic approach to root cause analysis.
  • Authoring and providing documentation, training, and support on how to use and maintain UiPath's Automation Platform to admins, developers, and other users.
  • Enabling application integration with the UiPath platform across multiple applications such as S/4HANA, ServiceNow, M365, etc.
  • Developing and testing business bots in UiPath for process automation and deploying them into production.
  • Ensuring effective communication and collaboration across the organization, including with other functional areas and senior leadership.
  • Performing other related tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS (Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or Administration, or other related disciplines) with 7+ years of industry experience.
  • 3+ years of experience developing in a Robotic Process Automation environment, UiPath preferred.
  • Experience with UiPath's Automation Platform configuration and setup in a multi-environment, including Orchestrator, Robots, and Studio.
  • Must have experience working on operations and support for UiPath application and its components and be able to create production runbooks for platform management and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in following security standards for RPA applications including UIPath.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Success integrating UiPath with SAP and other enterprise applications.
  • Proficiency in UiPath, including a solid understanding of UiPath Studio, Orchestrator, and other UiPath tools as taught by UiPath Academy.
  • Prior experience designing efficient and effective RPA workflows that align with business requirements.
  • Capability to implement robust exception handling mechanisms to ensure automated processes are resilient to errors.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging code written by others to identify and resolve issues in automated workflows.
  • Ability to create clear and comprehensive documentation for developed processes, ensuring knowledge transfer and future maintenance.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and teammates, understand requirements, and explain automation solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimize automated processes.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

Location : Remote with a travel percentage.

Travel : Many of our positions involve traveling up to 25%, but for those who are adventurous, there are opportunities for even more travel. However, we can also provide opportunities with limited or no travel requirements for highly qualified candidates.

This is a W2 position that requires candidates to be US Citizens who can acquire a security clearance.
