We are actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Tool and Die Maker to join and grow in the PPG organization. The Tool and Die Maker will provide direct support to Tooling, Production, Wax, and Metrology by maintaining, repairing, and creating the necessary tooling to reduce and eliminate production delays.

Requirements:

Extensive experience in operating a manual mill
Manufacture new and repair complex tooling as needed
Inspect finished dies and tools for defects, smoothness, and contour deformities
Verify tooling and fixturing meet quality requirements
Maintain organized workspace
Other related duties as requested

Knowledge, skills, and abilities

Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Experience operating 3 axis CNC milling equipment is preferred
Extensive experience with metalworking tools including drills, milling machines, grinders, and lathes
Ability to understand GD&T requirements
Basic shop math
Excellent attention to detail
Advanced troubleshooting skills
Ability to multi-task
Effective communication skills
Team Player

Compensation

Compensation for this role will vary based on industry specific experience
