Job Description



Analysis teams identify client needs, analyze processes, and propose solutions to align with strategic goals. While fostering efficiency and ensuring organizational success through systematic approaches, they also mediate between clients and engineering teams to ensure project clarity. 

As a Technical Product Manager at Endava you will help our client bring the voice of the customer to its customer engagement platform and maximize value across their portfolio of services. You will provide technical solutions to the client’s customers’ problems. You will partner with the client’s customers, the client-based sales team and other client-side product managers to contribute to the strategies, roadmap planning, design choices, and backlog creation necessary to deliver high-profile new features and capabilities.

Responsibilities: 

  • Establishing and building relationships with the client's stakeholder(s) through deep understanding of cloud-native software products as a platform.
  • Providing solution directions and recommendations based on the client's needs, environment specifics and industry trends.
  • Creating and refining user stories; defining their entrance and exit criteria.
  • Diving deep to understand the needs of all stakeholders, then converting those needs into a backlog. Keeping that backlog up-to-date and making priority tradeoffs so that the development team(s) are focused on delivering the best possible value.
  • Owns and manages product documentation; enables self-service support and/or works to reduce overhead.
  • Coordinating internal forums to collect and identify feature-level development opportunities.
  • Closely observing industry trends and proposing new solutions to the client processes and the product.
  • Measuring and reporting on the effectiveness of product iterations.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a product owner and/or business analyst in an Agile environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in projects with Cloud applications and/or dealing with API applications is desirable.
  • Must be able to commute and work from the Boston client office at least 3 days a week.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills within a development or highly technical team.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with independence and autonomy.
  • Familiarity with SQL, coupled with first-hand experience in developing against APIs.
  • A proven track record as an end-user of developer-focused solutions, to effectively bridge the gap between technical and business requirements in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
  • Knowledge or familiarity with Ruby is desirable.
  • Knowledge and experience of Agile software development planning techniques, including the Scrum framework and Kanban.
  • Experience defining and building cloud-native software products as a platform at scale with a deep understanding of those platforms' capabilities and underlying technologies.
  • Proven track record of data-driven decision-making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across client teams.
  • Can debate the delivery strategy with client-side business teams, architects, engineers, and designers.
  • Can communicate to executives, peers, and large groups with impact, eloquence, and authenticity.
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing dependent teams while commanding the respect of the individuals you work with across the client organization.
  • Comfortable giving and receiving critical feedback with a focus on collective improvement.
  • Knowledge or familiarity with Payments, ideally card payments, is desirable.

Pay Transparency

The expected salary range for this position is USD 108,000 to USD 145,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the company’s compensation practices. The actual salary may also vary based on applicant's geographic location and
