Job Description

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated, detailed, and highly experienced Supply Chain Manager to join their team in Marengo, IL. This role will lead the supply chain and logistics team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of supply chain operations, supply planning, and experience managing cross-functional teams. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless operations across supply chain, enhancing efficiency, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Manage a small supply chain team, providing leadership, direction, and mentorship to ensure team effectiveness and achievement of departmental goals.
  • Supply Chain Operations: Oversee and manage supply chain and logistics activities, ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and optimizing inventory levels.
  • ERP System Management: Utilize NetSuite ERP system (preferred) to streamline supply chain processes, maintain accurate inventory records, and facilitate efficient order fulfillment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering and international supply chain teams to coordinate supply activities, ensure continuity of supply, and minimize production disruptions.
  • Inventory Management: Supervise physical inventory and cycle count processes, working with the warehouse manager to improve warehouse operations and accuracy.
  • Process Improvement: Update and enhance procedures, instructions, and tools related to inventory control and supply chain operations. Implement new processes and improve existing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize efficiency.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Coordinate and lead meetings with customers and internal teams to address supply chain issues, ensure alignment on delivery schedules, and provide exceptional service.
  • Pricing and Invoicing: Distribute quarterly pricing updates to customers and ensure accuracy of invoicing and pricing across all transactions through monthly sales audits and reconciliation.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Maintain monthly spreadsheets and conduct thorough sales audits to ensure invoicing accuracy and pricing consistency, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with demonstrated leadership in managing teams and operations.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, and advanced skills in inventory management and supply chain optimization.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead process improvement initiatives, implement new procedures, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
