Job Summary:

As the Store Director at tm:rw , you will lead our flagship New York City location, driving excellence across customer experience, sales performance, and operational execution. You’ll take ownership of the store’s strategic direction, ensuring that every visitor encounters an immersive and engaging retail experience.

Leading a team of high-performing managers and sales professionals, you will foster a culture of innovation, motivation, and results. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the in-store experience , collaborating with senior leadership to ensure commercial objectives are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Development:

  • Inspire, mentor, and empower a high-performing team, ensuring seamless collaboration across all store functions.
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives to develop a skilled, customer-focused team.
  • Cultivate a results-driven culture with clear expectations and ongoing coaching to drive performance.

Sales & Commercial Strategy:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies that maximize revenue growth and surpass store targets .
  • Drive commercial initiatives, leveraging insights to optimize store performance.
  • Identify business opportunities and adapt strategies to market trends, customer behavior, and seasonal demands.

Customer Experience:

  • Elevate the in-store shopping experience by ensuring an engaging, interactive, and customer-first approach .
  • Build and nurture long-term customer relationships, driving loyalty and repeat business through innovative engagement.
  • Champion a service-driven mindset across the team, ensuring consistently exceptional customer interactions.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee all aspects of store operations, including inventory management, compliance, and brand standards .
  • Optimize shift schedules and team positioning based on store traffic, seasonal peaks, and promotional events.
  • Ensure efficiency in daily operations , maintaining a seamless and organized retail environment.

Performance & Business Management:

  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, KPIs, and customer insights , taking data-driven actions to improve results.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align store goals with the company’s strategic vision.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, profitability, and customer engagement .

Requirements & Preferences:

Experience: 7+ years in retail management, ideally in luxury, innovation, or tech-driven environments.

Sales Leadership: Proven success in leading high-performing teams to exceed revenue and KPI targets .

Customer-Centric Mindset: A deep passion for relationship-building and delivering exceptional customer experiences .

Strategic Thinker: Ability to translate business objectives into actionable plans that drive measurable results.

Communication: Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, fostering strong team collaboration.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving retail landscape .

Tech-Savvy: A strong interest in technology and innovation is a plus.

Salary: $110K–$130K + Commission
