Job Description

Location: Boston Metro, MA | 2 remote days per week

Salary Range: $85K-$95K | Bonus Eligible | Non-exempt

Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 9-5 | Occasional Overtime

Our client, a nationally recognized law firm recently honored by Best Lawyers, is seeking a Senior Social Media Specialist to join its collaborative and fast-paced Marketing & Communications team.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced digital marketing professional to take ownership of social media strategy and content development initiatives that support the firm’s brand, visibility, and business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and evolve the firm's social media strategy across LinkedIn, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and other relevant platforms
  • Write, edit, publish, and share daily thought leadership and branded content aligned with firm goals
  • Create and execute multi-format , cross-platform campaigns , including both organic and paid content
  • Develop engaging digital content using tools such as Canva , Zencastr , and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Manage content tagging workflows and deliver actionable reporting and analytics to optimize performance
  • Maintain and manage the firm’s social media calendar via SproutSocial
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to train colleagues on social media tools, best practices, and employee advocacy strategies
  • Provide input on the development and rollout of an employee advocacy program
  • Monitor engagement, respond to inquiries, and ensure all firm messaging is consistent and aligned with brand standards
  • Research emerging trends, technologies, and competitor activities to provide strategic recommendations to leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in social media marketing within a professional services, agency, or corporate environment
  • Experience in a law firm or B2B services industry is a plus
  • Proven content creation skills , including short-form copywriting, visual storytelling, and video production
  • Strong familiarity with social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Facebook, Instagram) and management tools (SproutSocial)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze metrics and use data to inform content strategy
  • Experience with employee advocacy platforms and social selling strategies is highly valued
  • Portfolio of previous work demonstrating creativity, writing excellence, and digital design proficiency
  • Strong organizational, project management , and communication skills
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a high-volume environment
  • Must possess a high level of attention to detail, flexibility, and a solutions-oriented mindset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and able to quickly adapt to new technologies
