Immediate opening for a certified School Psychologist to work in Columbia, South Carolina. New graduates and experienced psychologists who are seeking a full-time contract position, please apply or call Ruth Ann today!

We can only consider Educator's who hold a Level II or III certification through the South Carolina Board of Education (SCBOE).

Details

• Seeking September or Oct 7th start date
• Able to complete the current school year.
• Full-time (40-hours)
• Experience working with Prekindergarten to 12th graders.
• Conduct evaluations, testing and observations onsite.
• Assists with academic, emotional, or social problems.
• Provide counseling and guidance to student's needing assistance.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings virtually or in person, optional.
• Experience with Enrich software.
• Participate in parent meetings, special education and team meetings.
• Educate families and school staff on progress regarding goals and achievements.
• Promote positive behaviors and provide to students who are struggling.
• Understand the rules and regulations of school psychology for South Carolina.
• Team oriented environment
  
  

Education

• Bachelor's degree or higher in school psychology, education, or similar.
• Master's or Specialist degree in school psychology or educational psychological development.
• Completed a school psychologist internship in a K-12 school setting.
• Valid South Carolina School Psychologist certification
