Job Description

Pridestaff is currently seeking a Load/Unloader (Freight Handler) for a distribution warehouse located in Redlands, CA. This is a temporary seasonal project that starts on July 15th. Please see job requirements below to be considered.

• Pay Rate: $16.10 -17.10
• Shift: Monday - Thursday , 6am to 4:30pm (4,10 schedule)

Job Summary:

The Freight Handler is responsible for assisting with overall warehouse operations including but not limited to loading, unloading, and stacking products to/from pallets, floor, or racks. Other duties assigned by Warehouse Operations Management.

Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:

• Load, unload and stack merchandise onto or from pallets, floor, or racks by hand.
• Separate merchandise for shipment to warehouse location or according to management's instructions.
• Maintain integrity of products through proper handling.
• Apply appropriate labels to pallet or carton.
• Apply shrink-wrap to pallets of merchandise.
• Transport merchandise directly to shipping as required.
• Use a scanner to process merchandise for accurate inventory and location tracking.
• Follow company policies and procedures and maintain a safe work environment.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 month'sof recent experience required in a similar role in a warehouse environment.
• Possess basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to stand on feet frequently for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift weights of up to 50 pounds on a continual basis.
• Ability to safely operate pallet jack.
• Ability to meet quota demands.
• Must be willing to submit to criminal background check prior to start.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
