About Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH):

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. Part of the Manatee Healthcare System, the hospital has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval. The 295-bed hospital with over 800 physicians, residents and allied health professionals, offers advanced healthcare services in a caring and compassionate environment. Services include cardiac care and cardiovascular medicine, emergency care for all ages, surgery services — including robotic-assisted surgery with the da Vinci® Surgical System, a weight–loss program, orthopedic services, outpatient and inpatient radiology and rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep, oncology, wound care and women’s and children’s services. Manatee Memorial Hospital also offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs.

The Quality Coordinator, RN collaborates with nursing staff and physicians to communicate documentation deficiencies. Assists in the development and maintenance of high quality evidence based care through education and training of staff. Assists in chart audits and

abstraction. Provides feedback related to documentation and policy compliance issues to Nursing Directors and Managers. Collaborates with the Director of Quality in analysis and action planning to meet all departmental deadlines related to all Quality initiatives. Assists Quality department in chart evaluation as a function of the Peer Review Process. Other duties as assigned.

Job Information:

• This is for a full-time days position as a Quality Coordinator RN primarily with the Med Surg/Neuro/Stroke unit

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
• Current nursing licensure in Florida
• Critical care experience, preferred
• Skilled in management, organizational and interpersonal skills/relations
• Ability to execute various computer software programs

• High level computer skills in Word, PP, and Excel, preferred

• Ability to prioritize and execute multiple task
