Job Description

We are seeking a highly talented Project Manager to join our incredible team of professionals. The ideal candidate to join our firm is passionate about design and client service, with exceptional design, construction document and construction administrative skills. The candidate should have strong communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with the project team to create innovative, practical, and complex solutions for a wide range of clients and project types.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

• Able to write fee proposals, finalize contracts, provide cost estimates and schedules for clients
• Produce specifications
• Familiar with the monthly financial reporting cycles and can manage all aspects of the project to ensure delivery within scope and budget
• Lead a collaborative design effort with the project team, formulate the project design solution and assist in drawing or presentation production when needed.
• Lead the design team and consultants fostering collaboration and effective communication
• High level of experience with codes, building officials and technical expertise.
• Manage time and people with the ability to guide the design process to keep the project running smoothly and on schedule, both externally with consultants and the client as well as internally with the design team.
• Coordinate staffing resources and communicate with Partner and COO
• Participate in marketing opportunities and develop client relationships
• Mentor younger staff
• Responsible for coordinating with the finance team on billing issues and working with marketing team on project closeout and dead filing.

Project Manager Experience and Desired Skill Set:

• Professional degree in architecture with licensure preferred
• 8+ years of professional experience
• Experience working in Revit, AutoCAD and BIM strongly preferred
• Experience working with presentation tools such as InDesign and Photoshop
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of project design process (CD and CA)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience directing and leading junior staff
