Job Overview:

We are seeking a Project Engineer with utility-scale solar experience to support the design development process from project award through final completion. This role involves assisting with design coordination, drawing reviews, procurement support, and construction assistance.

For remote candidates, a higher level of experience is required, including expertise in design development. The position also requires one week of on-site work in California per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support design development efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist with drawing reviews and engineering oversight (EOR) coordination.
• Help manage RFIs (Requests for Information) related to design.
• Coordinate major equipment procurement (owner-furnished and contractor-procured).
• Provide procurement support to ensure timely material acquisition.
• Assist with construction support, troubleshooting design-related issues.
• Help facilitate project closeout, ensuring all design requirements are met.

Collaboration & Support:

• Senior engineers and project managers for design execution.
• Internal teams for procurement and construction coordination.
• Upper management for project alignment and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Required: Experience with utility-scale solar projects.
• Strong understanding of design processes and construction coordination.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
