Project Architect

Location: Nashville, TN

Job Type: Full-Time (Minimum 45 Hours/Week)

Role Overview:

As a Project Architect , you will play a critical role in leading and supporting design, documentation, and construction administration efforts across various impactful projects. This position offers opportunities for growth, ranging from entry-level licensed architects to senior-level leadership roles.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on all project phases, including design development, construction documentation, and administration.
• Independently manage portions of large-scale projects, ensuring technical precision and adherence to design intent.
• Lead construction administration tasks such as RFIs, submittals, and site observation reports.
• Oversee QAQC efforts and address technical challenges during construction.
• Coordinate with consultants and contractors to ensure successful project execution.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a culture of learning and collaboration.
• Serve as the primary client liaison for specific phases or projects, providing updates and managing expectations.
• Research materials, systems, and codes to inform design decisions.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture.
• Completion of AXP (Architectural Experience Program) requirements with progress toward or completion of architectural licensure (varies by role level).
• Proficiency in Revit and BIM 360 .
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Preferred:
• Licensure as a registered architect for mid- to senior-level candidates.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu , Newforma , and Procore .
• QAQC and construction administration experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience for entry-level roles, 10-15 years for mid-level roles, and 15+ years for senior-level roles.
