Jewish, play-based preschool in search of a dynamic infant and toddler teacher who would like to join our amazing team of educators. The right candidate will be energetic and have a passion for being a positive influence on very young children and knowledge in early childhood development.
This role promotes and nurtures the education of students birth to age five by using child observation to inform lesson planning and goal setting. The individual creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the physical, social and emotional development of students, while partnering with parents and engaging in open communication.

RESPONSIBILITIES Communicates with parents about behavior, needs, daily activities, academic performance and social acclimation of children.
Creates age-appropriate lesson plans with developmentally appropriate activities and expectations that address learning styles, abilities, interests, behavior problems and student specific goals.
Creates customized classroom activities by providing differentiated small and large group instruction.
Establishes classroom routines to promote a positive environment conducive to effective instruction and developmentally appropriate experiences.
Maintains accurate, complete and legible documentation.
Participates in school-wide events, scheduled meetings and parent- teacher conferences.
Works alongside parents and the ECC Administration in seeking resolutions to challenging behavior via formal and informal communication methods.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Employees may be required to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds frequently. Must be able to kneel, crouch, stand, walk, lift and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time. Employees may also be subject to body fluids and odors.
