Operations Specialist

QUAD is currently seeking an Operations Specialist for our Plymouth Meeting area investment advisor client. In office position.

This is a newly created role, ideal for a middle office operations professional, will be responsible for supporting public securities mandates and data infrastructure build out, as well as ensuring accurate client accounts investment per mandates.

Responsibilities:

• Working with investment management team on incorporating investment ideas into various portfolio strategies
• Performing trade calculations and execution across accounts
• Supporting team members with Advent Black Diamond implementation and establishing best practices
• Monitoring investment portfolio allocations and custodian and third party reconciliation services
• Ensuring accuracy of client reporting in collaboration with client services team
• Completing reconciliation issues investigations and resolutions

Skills/ Competencies:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Trade settlement/asset management operations experience
• Experience with portfolio management and reporting systems (Advent Axys or Black Diamond preferred)
• Knowledge of Order Management Systems, cost analysis, and data reconciliation
• Ability to effectively liaison with custodians
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills

Additional Details:

Compensation: To $100k + discretionary bonus

Employment Type: Direct Hire/in office

The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
