Job Title: MRI Technologist

Location: Lakeway, TX

Shift: 12-Hour Shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM)

Shifts Per Week: 3 (36 Scheduled Hours)

Hourly Rate: $33 - $48

Shift Differential: $9.00 weekend differential

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our team, working weekend day shifts. You will perform high-quality MRI procedures in a fast-paced environment, adhering to established protocols to ensure patient safety and quality imaging. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI procedures according to established protocols, ensuring high-quality imaging.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.
• Prepare patients for MRI exams, positioning them correctly, and adjusting equipment controls.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including infection control and radiation policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of MRI equipment and work areas.
• Assist with maintaining inventory and reporting any equipment issues to management.
• Complete and maintain accurate medical imaging records in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with the healthcare team and provide training to new staff members when needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Less than 1 year of MRI experience is required.
• Certified by the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT).
