With an expanding national footprint and a focus on technology-driven efficiency, they are seeking an IT Manager to lead their internal technology operations and strategic initiatives. The Role You’ll Play
The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of IT operations, including ERP system management, IT security, desktop support, and network infrastructure, while also managing strategic IT projects. This role requires a balance between strategic leadership and hands-on problem-solving, ensuring technology investments support business growth and operational efficiency. As there is a small internal team, the IT Manager will play a key role in vendor management, guiding third-party service providers to optimize IT performance and service delivery.
Lead and manage IT operations, including network infrastructure, security, and technical support.
Oversee ERP system administration, optimizing usage and liaising with the vendor to ensure technical issues are resolved..
Manage relationships with third-party IT service providers, ensuring cloud migration, software application development and maintenance, and ongoing IT infrastructure improvements are executed efficiently.
Ensure data security, backup integrity, and disaster recovery planning.
Oversee IT procurement, budgeting, and vendor negotiations.
Develop IT policies, compliance standards, and best practices to enhance security and efficiency.
Support software integrations for e-commerce, logistics, and warehouse management systems.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the IT team, fostering professional growth.
Work closely with executive leadership to align IT strategies with business objectives.
Background Profile:
We are looking for an IT leader who can drive IT modernization, team leadership, and ERP optimization while playing a critical role in the company’s strategic technology direction. The ideal candidate is a seasoned IT leader with a strong technical foundation in Project Management and Vendor Management with experience working with mid-market ERP systems, IT infrastructure, and cloud services, as well as proven experience managing small to mid-sized IT teams.
5+ years of IT leadership (and/or Technical Project Management) experience in a mid-sized enterprise (100-500 employees).
Strong background in network security, cloud infrastructure, and vendor management.
Experience leading IT teams, training staff, and improving IT operations.
Ability to bridge business and IT strategy, ensuring technology investments drive operational success.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and guide solutions.
Preferred:
Hands-on experience with administering ERP Systems (Acumatica, Netsuite, Prophet 21 or similar) e-commerce system integrations and logistics/warehouse management.
Relevant IT certifications such as ITIL, or PMP.
Prior experience in distribution, logistics, or manufacturing industries.
