Project Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Scrum Master to support several exciting projects within our Genetic Sciences Division. In this role, you will help guide project teams focused on developing and enhancing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications. Your contributions will be vital to key initiatives within the division, collaborating with a dynamic group of IT professionals, business resources, and vendors—some of whom will be remote and others on-site.
Role Scope & Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Scrum Meetings: You will lead and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies for multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration within the team.
- Remove Roadblocks: Actively connect with IT teams, vendor resources, and business stakeholders to identify and resolve any obstacles that may hinder progress.
- Lead with Agile Practices: Utilize Agile methodologies and Scrum practices to guide the team in developing data-driven manufacturing applications. Analyze business requirements and propose effective solutions tailored to manufacturing needs.
- Support Testing Efforts: Assist with the testing of functionalities developed during various testing phases to ensure quality and alignment with business goals.
- Enhance Team Performance: Remove impediments, coach team members, and resolve conflicts to foster an efficient and effective working environment.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Engage with various manufacturing and technical operations teams to gain a deep understanding of business processes, contributing to the development of impactful solutions.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Strive for process enhancements by automating manual tasks and improving project execution efficiency.
Key Qualifications:
- Certification: Must hold a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credential.
- Experience: At least 8 years of experience as a Scrum Master and 8 years in Project Management.
- Project Management Tools: Proficient in project management tools such as HP PPM.
- Scrum of Scrums: Experience with Scrum of Scrums is required.
- Methodological Knowledge: Strong understanding of various software development methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and iterative development.
- Technical Acumen: Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language and database management systems to effectively facilitate technical discussions with the team.
- PMP Certification: Having a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
