Job Summary:
The IT Director will lead the global IT strategy, infrastructure, and operations. This role will ensure the alignment of IT strategies with business objectives, maintaining the security, data privacy, and efficiency of systems, including compliance with PCI and PII protection standards. The Director of IT will collaborate closely with the CTO, Vice Presidents of Software and Hardware, and key stakeholders throughout the company, working in cross-functional teams to drive performance, maintain systems, and identify opportunities for improvement. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership · Develop and execute the organization’s IT strategy in alignment with business objectives.
· Oversee IT operations, including network management, server, telecommunication and helpdesk functions globally. IT operations in Canada and Australia.
· Lead and mentor IT staff, promoting continuous development and performance improvement.
· Collaborate with other departments to understand their IT and Infrastructure needs and deliver effective solutions.
Technology Infrastructure and Operations · Manage IT infrastructure and ensure the security, availability, efficiency, and scalability of all systems.
· Manage IT budgets, vendor relationships, and technology investments to ensure cost efficiency.
· Implement robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
Compliance and Security · Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with data security and privacy standards, such as PCI-DSS, PCI-SSS, SOC2, and ISO 27001.
· Establish and maintain cybersecurity processes to mitigate risks and protect sensitive data.
· Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
· Lead data privacy efforts for the company globally incorporating input from Legal.
Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
· Minimum 8 years of experience in IT management or related roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership position.
· Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network management, and cybersecurity.
· Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.
· Experience managing IT operations in compliance with PCI-DSS and other PII regulations.
· Excellent project management skills, with experience in delivering technological solutions on time and within budget.
Preferred Qualifications: · Master’s degree in Information Technology or Business Administration.
· Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services.
· Certification in IT governance or project management (e.g., PMP, ITIL).
· Knowledge of emerging technologies and digital transformation strategies.
