Job Description

Russell Tobin's client is hiring an Instructional Designer in Austin, TX

Employment Type: Contract

Location: Hybrid Austin, TX 78727

Schedule: 8am-5pm CST

Pay rate : $45-$50.21/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Designs and develops self-guided and instructor-led learning experiences for global audiences.
  • Demonstrates and utilizes consultation skills, needs analysis, time management, and course development skills.
  • Experience designing and developing blended-learning solutions including, multi-media scripts, and action learning experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with project team, SMEs, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Experience in technical writing, course development, and creating content for diverse audiences.
  • Skilled in designing engaging learning experiences using adult learning theory and various instructional design methodologies (classroom, self-guided, virtual).
  • Strong organizational skills, project management expertise, and attention to detail to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Ability to tackle complex challenges, identify creative solutions, and manage tactical issues efficiently.
  • Proficient in learning technologies (LMS, LCMS), adaptable to new tools, with excellent writing, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments, works independently with minimal direction, and contributes innovative, results-driven solutions.
