What You’ll Do:

• Create 2D bridge layout models and contract documents that bring projects to life.
• Assist in developing structural and civil bridge plans—from foundation layouts to reinforcing details.
• Work with AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation to prepare high-quality designs.
• Collaborate with engineers and guide junior team members.
• Interpret existing plans, sketches, and visualizations to ensure accurate, detailed designs.
• Maintain project files, perform quantity calculations, and ensure all designs meet agency standards.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in Architectural or Civil/Structural Engineering Drafting.
• A technical degree in Engineering Technology (preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MicroStation in an engineering environment.
• Experience with BIM and 3D modeling (a plus!).
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office, Acrobat/Bluebeam, and engineering production software.
• Familiarity with transportation agency standards and bridge detailing procedures.

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $85,600 - $135,000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
