Job Description



We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and dynamic Director of Talent Acquisition with a proven background in legal recruitment and relationship building to join our fast-paced and high-performance firm. This individual will drive strategic hiring initiatives while expanding the firm's network within the legal community to attract top-tier talent and promote our firm’s brand as a destination employer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to meet the firm’s staffing goals.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for key legal roles, including senior attorneys, junior attorneys, legal assistants, paralegals, and administrative staff.
  • Build and maintain strategic partnerships with law schools, peer law firms, professional organizations, and other industry contacts to source top legal talent.
  • Represent the firm at career fairs, networking events, and legal conferences to engage with potential candidates and strengthen industry relationships.
  • Collaborate closely with firm leadership and department heads to assess hiring needs, identify skill gaps, and create customized recruitment plans.
  • Develop and implement innovative recruitment campaigns to attract both entry-level and experienced legal professionals.
  • Create a seamless onboarding experience by working with internal teams to ensure new hires are integrated efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with executive leadership regarding recruitment strategies, progress, and challenges.
  • Leverage data-driven insights and hiring metrics to analyze trends, refine processes, and drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of talent acquisition experience, preferably in the legal industry or professional services environment.
  • Demonstrated success in developing talent pipelines and building strategic recruitment partnerships.
  • Proven ability to recruit for a broad range of legal roles, from entry-level staff to experienced attorneys.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to represent the firm with confidence and professionalism at public events, including law school presentations, career fairs, and industry conferences.
  • Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to improve hiring efficiency.
