Akkodis is seeking a Diagnostic Service Agent for a W2 contract-to-hire job with a client in Plymouth, MI . This role involves offering diagnostic support and troubleshooting for automotive systems to ensure accurate vehicle repairs. This role will be working remote and using a chatbot to assist/support field service technicians in recalibrating light and camera sensors on windshields. This position is open to both hybrid or remote work.

Rate Range: $20.00/hour to $28.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Diagnostic Service Agent job responsibilities include:

• Responsible for providing prompt, professional support to internal and external customers in response to a variety of remote diagnostic sessions.
• Agents will remotely perform Pre-Scans, ADAS Calibrations and Post Scans of Automotive Diagnostic Systems to assist in the proper repair and function of customer vehicles.
• Provide remote assistance to customers using Diagnostic products including Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) reading/clearing and analyzing, Module Programming, Module Configurations, Advance Driver Assistance System (ADAS) Calibrations, and diagnostic trouble shooting.
• Provide troubleshooting assistance to Level 1 agents and customers via chat, email, and remote support tools
• Escalate necessary issues to the Remote Diagnostic Coordinator for direction or resolution.
• Work internally and with the Service Manager to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Opening, tracking, and closing tickets within the ticketing and tracking systems; ensures problem ownership and promotes end-user satisfaction
• Monitor and track incoming customer emails with a shared mailbox system.

Qualifications:

• Automotive Certification, Automotive Training or 5+ years of Automotive ADAS/Diagnostic work experience. (Required)
• Must have prior experience with automotive diagnostics (DTC).
• Proficient on a Windows computer using Office 365 and other Windows or Web based applications.
• In-depth understanding on vehicle behavior on systems: Engine Management System, Safety Systems, ADS Module, Trailer Systems, Safety Restrain Systems (SRS), Antilock Brake Systems (ABS), Braking Systems, Steering and Suspension Systems.
