Job Description

Position Summary:
Responsible for delivery of all casework, trim work and solid surface products to the job site including taking product to specific areas of the project.


Work Hours:
Average of 50 hours per week. Nights, weekends and out of town/out of state trips may be required. Ability to work overtime. Start time 6:00 am each day.


Required education and experience:

  • High School Degree or GED
  • Excellent driving record
  • Strong ability to be self-motivated to ensure all work is completed quickly and timely
  • Ability to identify and use basic hand tools
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Math skills such as adding and subtracting
  • High attention to detail
  • Clean and neat appearance
  • Knowledge of packing finished products in a safe, efficient manner, minimizing potential damage to the products
  • Ability to read and utilize checklists
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, floor plans, and shop drawings.
  • Positive attitude toward personal, department and company goals
  • Demonstrates respect for fellow team members and customers
  • Takes responsibility for getting the work done

Essential functions:

  • Always perform job safely including wearing safety glasses and ask for help with lifting
  • Ensures checklist is complete
  • May supervise delivery helper
  • Load final product(s) onto trucks achieving an organized and secure load
  • Unload final product(s) at jobsite
  • Provide excellent quality control, load, unload and deliver in a timely manner with no damage.
  • Check and maintain truck fluids, tire pressure, oil changes, etc., as well as keeping the truck neat and clean inside and out
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time while driving
  • Stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle, grasp, or feel objects or controls, talk and hear, reach, bend, and stoop.
  • Ability to lift over 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Ability to enter and retrieve data from computer.
  • Ability to operate modern office business machinery.
  • Ability to operate phone system.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle.

  • Ability to converse in calm and friendly manner.
  • Ability to communicate on the phone.

Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment and in an open-air facility. This routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and copy machines.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
