As a Data Collection Specialist at Standard Bots, you will play a crucial role in the development of our AI-driven robotic solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to gather extensive datasets of humans performing various physical tasks. This data will be essential for training our robots to perform these tasks autonomously.
This is a part-time contract role based in Glen Cove, NY.
Coordinate and conduct data collection sessions, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Implement data collection protocols to capture high-quality video and sensor data of human task performance.
Process and categorize collected data to ensure it is ready for use in training machine learning models.
Ensure compliance with ethical standards and privacy regulations during data collection activities.
We’re looking for individuals who are meticulous, detail-oriented, and passionate about contributing to the advancement of robotics. We do not require a background in robotics, but experience in data collection, machine learning, or related fields are a plus.
Attention to Detail: You are meticulous and ensure accuracy in all aspects of data collection and processing.
Communication: You excel in both written and verbal communication, and can effectively collaborate with engineers and researchers.
