Clinic Administrator

Location: Orlando, FL - (Poinciana)

Type: On-site

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Contract Type: Direct Hire

Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 annually + Benefits

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Clinic Administrator to lead and manage the daily operations of a busy Primary Care clinic. The clinic serves 18 to 25 patients daily , focusing on providing high-quality, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in healthcare administration , with a strong preference for those who have worked in primary care settings. This role requires strong leadership, operational management, and the ability to foster a collaborative environment that promotes excellence in patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage daily clinic operations to ensure smooth workflows and exceptional patient care.
  • Supervise clinic staff, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, performance management, and training.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Monitor patient flow and scheduling to efficiently manage 18–25 patient visits per day .
  • Manage clinic budgets, financial reports, and resource allocation to ensure cost-effective operations.
  • Implement and optimize policies, procedures, and systems to enhance clinic performance.
  • Collaborate with medical providers and staff to maintain a high standard of care and service.
  • Lead initiatives to improve patient satisfaction, care delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate medical and administrative records in compliance with privacy and security standards.
  • Manage procurement of medical and office supplies and oversee payroll processes.
  • Represent the clinic in public events, meetings, and community outreach programs.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field. (In lieu of a degree, 4 additional years of relevant experience will be considered.)
  • Experience:
  • 3+ years of healthcare administration experience is required.
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience is essential.
  • Prior experience in Primary Care settings is highly preferred .
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, clinic workflows, and patient care standards.
  • Proficiency in healthcare systems, electronic medical records, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and reimbursement practices.
  • Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with staff and patients.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull objects with up to 100 pounds of force.
  • Extended periods of standing or sitting may be required.
  • Fine motor skills for operating equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to drive and travel locally for clinic events or meetings.
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills for understanding instructions and solving problems.
  • Occasional exposure to communicable diseases or bodily fluids.
  • Up-to-date immunizations and vaccinations required.
