Job Title: Cisco ACI Engineer

Location: New York City (Hybrid 12 days per month onsite) NY/NJ/PA/CT

Duration: Initial 6 months contract with potential to convert to fulltime employment within a year

Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced Cisco ACI Engineer to join a dynamic team at a leading foreign bank based in New York City. This is a seniorlevel position that requires deep technical expertise in Cisco datacenter technologies networking and security solutions. The role involves working on a hybrid basis with an initial contract duration of six months and the potential for fulltime employment thereafter. The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience and a strong background in investment banking environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design implement and maintain Cisco routing switching and datacenter technologies including Cisco ACI and Nexus.
• Configure and manage Cisco ISE for identity and access management.
• Deploy configure and troubleshoot Fortinet firewalls to ensure a secure network environment.
• Collaborate with teams to implement microsegmentation solutions to enhance network security.
• Manage F5 load balancing (LTM/GTM) and DNSbased solutions (e.g. BlueCat Infoblox).
• Work with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of networking technologies across the bank.
• Conduct performance tuning monitoring and troubleshooting of network infrastructure.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity efforts.
• Collaborate on network automation projects using scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash).

Key Skills and Experience:

• 10 years of experience in Cisco datacenter technologies including Cisco ACI Nexus and Fortinet firewalls.
• Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols.
• Experience in investment banking or financial services environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of Cisco ISE.
• Familiarity with microsegmentation solutions.
• Strong technical skills in load balancing technologies (F5 LTM/GTM).
• Experience with DNS solutions (e.g. BlueCat Infoblox).
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher certification preferred.
• Local candidates (NY/NJ/PA/CT) strongly preferred.
• Eligible to work in the United States (GC USC or similar).
