Childcare Provider .
Working in the crisis and pediatric nurseries,
Childcare Providers are assigned up to 5 children, 0-12 years of age, each shift. Each Childcare Provider is primarily responsible for all aspects of the children's care, including providing developmentally-appropriate educational enrichment activities and bathing/toileting/hygiene needs. Care is provided in a trauma-informed way and there is a focus on positive behavior management. Each shift also works as a team to complete additional household duties as assigned.
Providence House is a drug-free workplace, and all applicants are required to complete a criminal background screening and a 5-panel drug screening prior to starting employment.
Additionally, all employees and volunteers are mandated reporters.
Qualifications: •21 years of age or older; High school diploma or GED equivalent required
•One to two years of direct paid childcare experience at a minimum
•Able to accommodate evening, weekend and holiday work schedules
•Good verbal and written communication skills
•Valid State of Ohio driver's license
•CPR/First Aid certifications a plus
Shift Hours Must be able to accommodate weekend and holiday work schedules as needed. The shift that is currently available is:
Friday - Sunday, 6:45am - 7:00pm (full-time with benefits)
