Job Description

This is a hybrid, contract to hire opportunity in the Atlanta area. Candidates must be local to the Atlanta area. This role is NOT open to C2C, OPT, or Visa consideration. No vendor support of any kind needed.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Business Architect with 7+ years of experience in the insurance industry and a strong background in business transformation and enterprise alignment. The ideal candidate has led policy administration system implementations, worked in global environments, and possesses the ability to drive change across a complex enterprise. This role requires high professional presence, the ability to challenge assumptions, and strong leadership in cross-functional stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enterprise Capability Assessment : Evaluate current capabilities, identify gaps, and provide strategic recommendations for improvements.
  • Policy Administration System Transformation : Lead and guide the implementation of a new policy administration system, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational needs.
  • Process Standardization : Develop and implement standardized processes for bookrolls, ensuring efficiency and scalability across the organization.
  • Enterprise Alignment & Strategic Planning : Align business architecture across IT, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership, ensuring a cohesive transformation strategy.
  • Model Analysis & Implementation : Review prior models and determine how to implement changes at the enterprise level to improve efficiency and scalability.
  • Roadmap Development : Define the current state, design the future state, and create a strategic roadmap for transformation initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including C-suite executives, IT leaders, and operational teams, to ensure buy-in and successful execution of initiatives.
  • Change Leadership : Drive enterprise-wide change, providing thought leadership, pushing back when necessary, and ensuring strategic decisions align with business goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in the insurance industry, with deep knowledge of policy administration systems and industry best practices.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Architect or Business Engagement Leader, leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives.
  • Proven experience in policy administration system implementations and large-scale system transformation projects.
  • Global experience, with an understanding of how to scale and implement business processes across international markets.
  • Strong professional presence, with the ability to effectively communicate, influence, and challenge senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience working across IT, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to align enterprise-wide strategies.
  • Ability to build strategic roadmaps, assess current capabilities, and define transformation initiatives at a high-impact level.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working in a highly matrixed enterprise environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and digital transformation strategies.
  • Strong background in business process reengineering and operating model transformation.
