Assistant Nurse Manager in Labor & Delivery!We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Labor & Delivery department at one of our hospitals near San Francisco. We are proud of our patient-centered approach and our commitment to excellence.Nurse Manager Key Responsibilities:Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, implementing improvement strategies as needed.Contribute to the development, revision, and implementation of policies and procedures for the L&D unit in alignment with hospital guidelines.Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and patient-centered care.Assist in supervising and managing L&D nursing staff, ensuring adherence to best practices, policies, and procedures.Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care.Support patient care coordination, ensuring timely interventions and smooth transitions.Participate in staff meetings, performance evaluations, and ongoing training and educational opportunities.Help manage budgetary and resource allocation for the L&D unit.Address patient concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner.Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as maintaining necessary accreditations and certifications.Nurse Manager Qualifications:Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.BSN and NRP requiredL&D experience requiredCharge Nurse or ANM experience requiredBLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required.Proficiency in electronic health record systems.Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Knowledge of California healthcare regulations and compliance standards.Benefits:Generous PTO and sick leave.Professional growth opportunities.Competitive salary based on experience.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.Retirement savings plan.Tuition reimbursement for continued education.Ready to Make a Difference?If youre excited to contribute to the health and well-being of our community while advancing your leadership journey, we invite you to apply.
