Job Description

System One is seeking an Assistant Director of Information Technology for a full-time, permanent onsite opportunity in Louisville, KY. This individual will be responsible for assisting the Director of IT with designing, monitoring, and implementing technology solutions. The Assistant Director of IT will also specialize in enhancing internal cybersecurity policies and procedures. This position would be a great next step in an IT Professional’s career advancement, and will benefit from the direct tutelage and collaboration with the Director of IT and other Executive Leadership. This person will have autonomy to lead others in education and research necessary to improve both overall technology maturity as well as security posture.
Responsibilities:

• Assist Director of IT with reviewing and approving program specifications.
• Ownership of cybersecurity policies and procedures as the team cybersecurity resource.
• Collaborate with client business leaders for IT services to enhance business processes.
• Ensures availability, reliability and performance of critical business systems such as, Elite, Office 365, Wingate, and MS Exchange.
• Ensures availability, reliability and performance of network, telephone and Windows server infrastructure.
• Ensures availability, reliability and performance of more than 200 desktops, laptops and printers.
• Liaises with third party vendors for SLA and operational functions.
• Ensuring delivery of assigned projects.
• Assists in planning and implementing of annual budgets.

Qualifications:

• Three (3) years' experience in Information Technology, at least one (1) of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.
• Demonstrable pattern of progressive responsibilities, roles, or accomplishments.
• Bachelor’s Degree, or an equivalent combination of training and experience may be substituted.
