Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Maintain audit readiness and oversee sanitation, pest control, and food safety programs.
• Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues, implementing corrective actions.
• Oversee plant quality control, including testing, record-keeping, and regulatory compliance.
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality and safety.
• Lead quality training for employees on food safety, regulatory compliance, and best practices.
• Manage quality-related customer complaints, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with R&D to ensure new products meet specifications and safety standards.
• Supervise and develop the quality team, providing training, coaching, and performance management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biological Sciences, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5-8 years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Aseptic processing experience required.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• PCQI, HACCP, and SQF certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, regulatory compliance, and food safety standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
